President
Michael Gould, President of SilverCrest Properties, sets the strategic direction for the company, oversees operations, develops new senior communities, and works to achieve the company’s financial goals. Under his direction, the company has incorporated innovative programs into the traditional senior housing paradigm including wellness centers that contain warm water multi-purpose and therapy pools, massage, and state-of-the-art fitness equipment designed for seniors.
Mr. Gould established SilverCrest Properties in 1986 as a full-service company developing, constructing, marketing, and managing a continuum of senior housing options. The company maximizes the success of each project through careful market research, planning, creative design, and boundless ingenuity. Mr. Gould has expanded SilverCrest Properties by building and managing independent and assisted living and memory care campuses in several Minneapolis communities, including Richfield, St. Louis Park, New Brighton, and Eden Prairie, as well as Lakeville, MN, Maple Grove, MN, Rochester, MN, Des Moines, IA and Converse, TX. Prior to forming SilverCrest Properties, Mr. Gould was a Development Manager for Bor-Son Construction Companies and handled new projects. He received a BA in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.

Denise is responsible for the day to day operations of SilverCrest communities. This responsibility includes; delivering superior customer satisfaction through our SilverAdvantage service model, execution of employee training and development, achieving occupancy and financial goals through over 500 employees in Minnesota and Texas.
Denise is a seasoned executive, licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator and a Bachelor of Science prepared registered nurse. Denise demonstrates strong clinical, financial, management and leadership skills. She has a solid working knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations, housing with services laws and knowledge of public health needs and resources. Denise has served as Administrator/CEO, Executive Director and Director of Nursing. She received her BSN from Augsburg College and attended the University of Minnesota for Long Term Care Administration.

Chief Financial Officer
Mark Smith, Chief Financial Officer, plans, directs, and controls financial functions for SilverCrest Properties and its managed communities. Mark has over 10 years of leadership and strategic operational experience as well as driven success in growing organization’s capital structure and successfully managing multimillion-dollar acquisitions. He has a proven track record of improving organizational performance through cost reduction, service line analysis and performance improvement. His expertise includes change management and process redesign, financial planning and analysis, due diligence and acquisition integration, controllership and business line reporting, as well as cross functional team development and leadership. As CFO along with the executive team, he identifies opportunities that will drive the success of SilverCrest Properties’ strategic, long-term plan for financial growth and optimization.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from University of Northwestern – St Paul and holds a Master of Business Administration as well. He has held a variety of high-level financial leadership roles during his career, including his most recent position at a $120 million IT company.

Vice President of Operations
Christine is responsible for the planning, direction, facilitation and monitoring of multiple programs at communities including all health care, dining and environmental services. This includes financial planning and monitoring, carrying out quality assurance reviews and developing systems. She is also a support to the Executive Directors.

As the Regional Director of Operations for Silvercrest, Jake brings 20 years of experience committed to carrying out strategic initiatives that drive consistency and improvement across all site locations. He ensures regulatory compliance and serves as the primary safety and environmental leader, utilizing continuous quality improvement methods and tools to enhance business operations. Responsibilities include planning, directing, facilitating, and monitoring multiple communities’ programs, encompassing building systems and environmental services, renovation and building projects, as well as healthcare and dining services programs. His extensive experience & dedication to excellence and innovation ensures that our communities provide the highest quality of life for our residents

Jason O’Higgins, an industry veteran with 20 years of experience in senior living with 15 years in a leadership role. His expertise includes building a strong sales culture within the communities developing and creating overall corporate and community level marketing and sales strategies. As the Corporate Director of Marketing, he collaborates with the executive team to drive SilverCrest’s overall market presence as well as occupancy growth. Jason holds a BA from the University of Minnesota.
Cheri Booth

Cheri comes to Silvercrest with over 25 years of healthcare experience. She oversees clinical operations and ensures that our residents get exceptional care based on best practices in the industry. Cheri attended the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Health Science in counseling and rehabilitation services and a Master of Public Health. Later she attended St Catherine University where she completed her RN and Master of Nursing degrees. Cheri brings with her experience working with both pediatric and adult patients with a primary focus on infectious disease and community health. She was a clinical director at Silvercrest’s Summit Place for 2 years before joining the corporate team and now leads a team of dedicated and skilled nurses.

Steve Cameron joined SilverCrest Properties in 2010. With over 30 years of Culinary Engagement, Steve is passionate and devoted to delivering positive culinary experiences for our communities. Steve is responsible for all aspects of SilverCrest Dining Services which includes contract negotiations, training, and leadership of staff, budget development, and ensuring that our guests have memorable dining experiences. Steve works closely with the Dining Directors to support each site and maintain SilverCrest Dining Services culinary standard of from-scratch cooking, fresh ingredients, and outstanding service.
Sarah Fitterer

Sarah Fitterer is responsible for processing payroll for all employees at SilverCrest Communities. This includes oversight and planning of fiduciary contracts and audits related to payroll. She also provides HRIS support to the communities as well as managing their transportation programs and files.
Sarah grew up in a suburb of the Twin Cities. She attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and studied Health Care Administration. She enjoys exploring new hiking trails, traveling, reading, Netflix and spending time with family and friends. Previous to joining the team at SilverCrest Properties corporate office, Sarah worked as the Assistant Executive Director at SilverCreek on Main, she is passionate about serving seniors and driven by helping others.

Mark Ward is responsible for Environmental Services across the Silvercrest Portfolio. As a seasoned Senior Director of Global Facilities and Real Estate, Mark brings over two decades of EVS leadership and expertise to Silvercrests management team and is committed to providing our residents and employees with a safe, secure, comfortable, and inclusive living and work environment. Responsibilities include, building systems operation, preventive maintenance, process improvements, contract negotiation, capital projects, engineering, project management.
Mark holds B.S. from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and an A.A. from Dunwoody College of Technology.
